Over the next few months Aurora and I are going to be sharing some the weddings from our 2012 wedding season. We hope you will enjoy reliving last summer as much as we enjoyed enjoyed being a part of these beautiful weddings and getting to meet such special couples. First up is Nagore + Trevor’s romantic August wedding by Aurora.
Nagore and Trevor are one of those couples you immediately want to be friends with. So in love, grounded in what they have and so much fun! Nagore had a distinct vision for the big day: traditional elegance, beautiful florals and personal details. I had the honour of helping Nagore make her vision a reality. Gucio Photography captured the moments and details of this special day (thank you so much for allowing us to use them for this post!).
The Ceremony took place at Christ the Redeemer Parish in West Vancouver where baby’s breath lined the aisle.
The reception was a warm, laughter-filled affair at Cecil Green. The personal details were plentiful, from the cocktail napkins stamped with Nagore + Trevor’s names in gold, to handwritten place cards to the delicious mini pies wedding favors made by Sweet Thea. An abundance of soft white floral by Granville Island Florist filled the long tables covered in warm ivory linen supplied by Pedersens with decorative elements supplied by Upright Decor. The menus peeked out from the Ivory satin napkins at each setting, while gold chivari chairs lined the tables.
Nagore’s family is from the Basque region and during dessert her family distributed music sheets of traditional Basque music and burst into song!
As the night came to a close their guests departed into the rare balmy summer night, full of delicious food and happily tired from dancing the night away.
